A Colourful Day.
its a dreadful monday and not only am i having the monday blues, i have a black eye (yes the orh bak kak kind), and a red left ankle. ooh what a colorful day.
saturday was going back to st nicks day. i have SO MUCH to blog about that but will do so when i have the pictures to put up. to cut a long story short, i really miss my second home! *wails* i miss xiao zhang, orange bowl, the gymnasium, spectator stand, sports' day, valentine's day, miss choo, the balcony, the red bridge, father barre, the hall.. canteen food, the school bell (and the countless belles. *grin*) :( , marie and her bung days... (oops!) and many many more. i will blog about it in another entry. meanwhile people can visit www.blinkymummy.blogspot.com for a beautiful trip down memory lane. 圣尼格拉我永远爱你!!!
anyways so, there we were; friends and i, in the st nicks gym.. jumping on the trampoline, allowing nostalgic thoughts about SN to bounce along in our heads, when someone suggested "LET'S PLAY DOG AND BONE!" just like we did in secondary school. for the sake of people who don't know what dog and bone is, ok i tried typing out how its played and trust me you would NOT be interested to read it. anyways, so from dog and bone it somehow evolved to rugby. our ball, was a water bottle. so there we were, a group of 10 girls, holding on to the water bottle for our dear lives. for some reason, we started spinning around in circles from one end of the area to the other.
and so came yet another spin-about. whooooooowheeeeeee.. *BANGG!!* someone's head collided into my eyebrow bone. OOOOOOUUUCCCCCCCCHHHHH! but my wonderful sportsmanship got me playing on till that round was over. area above the left eye started to swell and turn red. "ahh! i think my eye cant open fully. oh no im gonna go blind helpppp meee!!!" that went through my head cause i thought it'd be too loserly to verbalize it. Jane accompanied me to the toilet (sorry to sidetrack but: ooh i miss that gym toilet. its so different now! there are like dressing rooms in there!) while huijing went to get me some ice.
my team didnt win that round.
boooohoooo my left eye is swollen and black.
as if this isnt bad nuff for oh so vain me. i left home this morning, in those (!#$%^&*) black shoes which always cause me to sprain my ankle but in my black eye state of mind, i decided to wear it. yet AGAIN. i dont ever learn do i. yes i dont. rushing outa the side gate, first step out, and voila. sprained it. OOOUUUUCCCCCCHHH. i cried :( got a shock. limped right back home and changed to flats. limped to work without being late. kudos to me.
boooohooo my left ankle is swollen and red.
first thing i did when i went to work, email everyone to inform them of my injuries to save myself the embarrassment :(
left side oh left side. please be kinder to yourself and not hurt any other part of yourself anymore. right side oh right side. do stay strong for left side's sake.

omigootness i havent been blogging. not like i have any avid readers but reading kerlie's blog inspired me to blog again :) kudos to you kerlie!
i have FINALLY found a JOB! :D my workplace is at novena square. kerlie's having some attachment thing at TTSH and we have been trying to meet for lunch but in vain. her indecisive lecturers are always shuffling tutorial timings around! shame on you kerlie's lecturer! and accompanied with the very rigid lunch hour (yes i stress that its only but one lonesome hour nothing more.) i have, we have not met even once :(
now i shall give everyone random information about my office:
it is very cold. VERY.
i have my favourite starbucks mug sitting on the table, which id love to keep permanently filled with milo but i cant cause i need to go on a diet and oh so adorable milo happens to be go-on-a-diet unfriendly :(
the office has ALOT of courier boxes. and envelopes for that matter.
i have a spare pair of heels next to my chair and a lady bug back hitter used for my very weak and constantly painful lower back.
there are toblerone and cadbury chocolates in the fridge.
our toilet keys cost 41++ dollars.
yup so thats about all the random information i have to give thus far. will update with more in time to come!
Im still in office at 7pm because i am waiting for Jo to come and meet me. we are meeting for the second day in a row at the exact same place which is NOVENA SQUARE. why? cause i am nice and accomodating.
ooh tomorrow is ST NICHOLAS GIRLS' SCHOOL'S 75th anniversary! woooooohoooo! how coolios is that maan! *smiles and grins* boy am i excited. i wish wish wish that xiao zhang will be there.
